Definition
Use
Means that the system does not set a default value for the recipient of the correspondence.
This is necessary if there are several potential recipients for the correspondence. It is then the task of the claim handler to select the correct recipient manually in the application.
Dependencies
If the system does not find any recipient for correspondence, it reacts as follows:
- If the indicator is set, the system creates a document proposal regardless of the required dispatch type.
- If the indicator is not set, the system determines a default recipient and uses the dispatch type that has been set.
Example
An insured might have several guardians or persons with power of attorney, meaning that you are not able to uniquely determine who should receive the correspondence. In such a case, you would set this indicator.
