Documentation
Definition
If this flag is set, the limit or deductible of this benefit type is used for the limit check of the assigned reserve type, and for the display of the limit and deductible overview.
Use
The limit of the benefit type can be defined in the benefit type tree (IMG activity Configure Benefit Type Trees) or in the contract.
Deductibles on compensation are also considered. Deductibles on the claim are ignored, as they have no influence on the maximum expenditure involved for the insurance company.
Several benefit types of a reserve type can have this flag. During the check on manually set or manually changed reserves, the system determines the maximum expenditure that is possible for this reserve type in this subclaim. The system also considers cross-subclaim limits if they also have this flag. If this is the case, the program considers the existing total expenditure of other relevant subclaims (incurred through payments or reserves). It firstly checks the limits within the subclaim, then the cross-subclaim limits, and lastly the cross-coverage limits.
