Definition
Means that the system performs a check for duplicates when you create a new claim with this internal claim type.
Use
In this check for duplicates, the system checks whether a claim with this internal claim type and this claim date already exists. In the Days Deviation field you can specify which period should be considered in the check for duplicates.
After it has completed this check, the system displays a list of all claims that have the same internal claim type and same claim date (or are in the specified period). The user can then verify whether the claim has already been created, and if so, navigate directly to this claim.
Note:
SAP provides Business Add-In (BAdI) Find Possible Duplicates During Claim Creation (ICL_DUPLICATE_CHECK) for this check.
