Use

Set this indicator if you have not defined anything in the Payout Calc. field (BRF expression for calculation of disbursement amount).

The system then reads the BRF expression assigned to the relevant policy product in Customizing. This BRF expression is defined in IMG activity Configure Benefit Type Trees at the level of Sum Insured and Calculation Rule. The benefit type tree is assigned to a policy product in IMG activity Configure Policy Products.

If you define a BRF expression in the Payout Calc. field, do not set this indicator.
