Definition

Defines the business transaction of the line item in relation to the main transaction of the line item.

Use

In the Claims Management system, the sub-transaction is passed to the Collections & Disbursements system for creation of a business document.

The sub-transaction represents the following:

• The first character byte identifies the item as
• reportable (value of "1") or
• not reportable (value of "0")
• The last two character bytes reflect the tax code value associated with the payment type.

Dependencies

The value of the "normal" sub-transaction must have already been defined in the Collections & Disbursements system.
