Note: You can use these status values for the status in a claim as well as for the status in a claim bundle.

Claim

In a claim, you can use these status values for the status of certain claim subobjects. Examples:

  • Claim status
  • Subclaim status
  • Payment status
  • Status of a claim item grouping
  • Litigation status
  • Negotiation status

Claim bundle

In a claim bundle you can use the status values for the following status:

  • Claim bundle status
  • Settlement status in collective subrogation/recovery

Dependencies

In IMG activity Enhance Status, only the possible status values of a claim, subclaim, payment, claim item grouping, negotiation, or litigation are defined. You use a value request of the Business Rule Framework to specify which status is displayed by the system in the application at runtime.

Claim

You define the value request for the status in a claim in IMG activity Configure Internal Claim Types.

The following applies:

  • For the claim status, subclaim status, payment status, negotiation status, litigation status, and litigation level status you define a relevant value request at the Claim Header level in the detailed view of the version of the internal claim type:
    • for the claim status in the Claim Status VR field
    • for the subclaim status in the Subclaim Status VR field
    • for the payment status in the Payment Status VR field
    • for the litigation status in the Litigation Status VR field
    • for the litigation level status in the Litigation Level Status VR field.
    • for the negotiation status in the Negotiation Status VR field
    • for the status of a claim item grouping you define the value request at the level of the Claim Item Group in the detailed view of permitted claim item grouping categories.

Claim bundle

You define the value request for the status in a claim bundle in the following IMG activities:

Examples of possible values for a claim status and a subclaim status:

  • Open
  • Closed
  • Reopened
  • No claim made

Examples of possible values for a payment status:

  • Payment executed
  • Returns
  • Check cashed

Examples of possible values for a status of a claim item grouping:

  • Approved
  • Rejected
  • Canceled
