The system only searches for business partners that exist in the business partner role or business partner role grouping that has been assigned in Customizing.

Use

Dependencies

A business partner role or a business partner role grouping has been assigned to a participant role in IMG activity Define Characteristics of Participant Roles.

In this IMG activity you can also configure the system so that the Consider Business Partner Role flag is set by default. Set the SrchFlgDef flag (Default Value for the Search Flag) in this IMG activity.

Example

When you create a participant in the role of Insurer, you only want to search for for business partners that exist in the role of Insurance Company. In this case, set the Consider Business Parter Role flag.
