Use

This specification controls the effect of the scheduled payment on the claim. In particular, the effect regarding reserves is controlled, and whether a scheduled payment that has just been entered can close a subclaim.

You have the following selection options:

• No Scheduled Payments Permitted

  You cannot create scheduled payments.

• Schedule Record - Disbursements Not Yet Finally Defined

  In this case, reserves are only reduced by disbursements already made as part of a scheduled payment.

  When a schedule record is entered, the subclaim cannot be closed at the same time.

• Plan of Firmly Defined Disbursements

  In this case, reserves are reduced by the sum of all disbursements made as part of a scheduled payment (in other words, disbursements already created and all future planned disbursements).

  When a schedule record is entered, the subclaim can be closed at the same time.
