Documentation
Definition
Groups 1 to n data records with the same indicatives.
A reserve group is usually a combination of characteristic values (individual values and intervals) of the assigned reserve group category. It can also be a quantity of such instances. Reserve groups put the entire amount of indicatives that you defined in IMG activity Define Reserve Group Categories and Related Indicatives into meaningful combinations.
Use
At this level you define the percentage distribution of the total IBNR reserve (total of IBNR expenses and loss reserves) across the loss years, as well as the expenses/loss split.
