Definition
Indicates the current reserve. It is often referred to as the remaining reserve, because it is usually lower than the initial reserve.
The initial reserve is the reserve that was set first, usually when a subclaim was opened.
The current reserve indicates the amount remaining for outstanding payments or payments to be created.
Use
In the case of procurement, the required amount is stored here when an order is placed, but it is not available for new losses (compensation).
In the background the system splits this amount again into a "procurement reserve" and a "free reserve". Only the "free reserve" is available for new losses (compensation).
If you enter an amount in the New Reserve field, the system copies this exact amount to the Reserve field.
