Definition
Amount of reserve change.
Use
The reserve that has been set is increased or reduced by the amount entered here. With an increase or reduction of a reserve, the reserve of the current subclaim, the total expenditure, and the determined remaining reserve are changed +/- by the amount entered here.
Dependencies
If you have set the new reserve manually on the Reserve Adjustment dialog screen in the New Reserve section, the reserve change is displayed here, in other words, the amount of the difference between the old reserve and the new manually set reserve. You can then change this amount of the reserve change here.
Example: The old reserve is USD 800. On the Reserve Adjustment screen you manually enter a new reserve of USD 1,000. In the Reserve Change field, a reserve change of (+) USD 200 is displayed.
Note: The dialog screen Reserve Adjustment is only displayed if the reserve set to date for a new payment is not adequate.
Example
Changes are made, for example, if the existing reserve is not sufficient for the claim or subclaim to be settled, or if the reserve has been set too high.
