Documentation
Definition
Number of claims or subclaims that have been reopened at least once in the selected period.
Use
Dependencies
To determine the number of such claims, the system uses the performer assignment that was valid at the point in time at which the claim or subclaim was reopened, not the performer assignment that is valid when the report is run.
Example
- Example 1:
A claim that was open at the beginning of the selected period is closed twice during the period and then reopened. Shortly before the end of the selected period, the claim is closed.
In this case, the number is 1.
- Example 2:
A claim that was closed when the period started is reopened during the period.
In this case, the number is 1.
- Example 3:
A claim that is created (opened) during the selected period is closed, then opened again, and closed again before the end of the selected period.
In this case, the number is 1.
