Use
You can use this value to specify the sum insured as a percentage, namely as a percentage of the sum insured as specified in the contract.
Dependencies
The field is used in connection with the Ref.Ben.Type and Ref.Cov.Type fields. They contain details on benefit type and coverage type of the sum insured according to the contract (for example, if a sum insured for per diem sickness benefit is specified in the contract, and the convalescence benefit should be 50% of this sum insured).
Example
A contract has an entry of $100 as coverage 01 (with coverage type AA) for benefit type CC01.
The customizing settings are then as follows:
- Reference coverage type: AA
- Reference benefit type: CC01
- Reference value (%): 50
If the contract does not have any corresponding entry, there is an error somewhere. You must ensure that these customizing settings are only applicable if all contracts have the same reference value.
