Definition
Used to specify a limit or deductible as a percentage of the limit or deductible that is specified in the contract.
Dependencies
This field is used in connection with the Reference Coverage Type and Reference Benefit Type fields. They contain details on the coverage type and benefit type of the limit/deductible with reference to the contract (for example, if a limit for buildings is specified in the contract and the limit for the building contents is 50% of this amount).
Example
A contract has an entry of $100,000 as coverage 01 (with coverage type AA) for benefit type CC01.
In this case, the customizing is as follows:
- Reference coverage type: AA
- Reference benefit type: CC01
- Reference value (%): 50
If the contract does not have any corresponding entry, there is an error somewhere. You must ensure that these customizing settings are only applied if all contracts have the same reference value.
