Use
To define a limit/deductible as a percentage of the limit/deductible specified in the policy.
This field is used in connection with the fields reference coverage type and reference benefit type. These contain information on the coverage type and benefit type of the limit/ deductible with reference to the contract (for example, if a contract has specified a limit for a building, and the limit for the contents of the building should be 50%).
Example
A contract has an entry of $ 100,000 as coverage 01, category AA, for benefit type CC01.
The Customizing settings in this case are as follows:
- Reference coverage type: AA
- Reference benefit type: CC01
- Reference value (%) : 50
If the contract does not have a corresponding entry, this means that an error has occurred. You must ensure that these Customizing settings only apply if all contracts have the same reference value.
