Special instance of the reason for a claim item grouping as part of the benefit decision on inpatient hospital treatment.

Use

A decisive characteristic of the benefit decision is the coverage declaration.
The coverage declaration characteristic indicates whether this is a normal or a changed cost absorption or whether it is a rejection, for which a whole range of reasons can be stored.

Dependencies

In IMG activity Configure Internal Claim Types, at the level of the Claim Item Group, you define which characteristics are permitted for a combination of subclaim type and claim item grouping category. You define the characteristics as permitted reasons.
