Use
With this setting, you define how claim participants should be created in the relevant participant role depending on the internal claim type.
You can make the following settings:
- Only Create Participants if Not Entirely Blank
The system creates the participant exactly according to the input given by the user. However, in contrast to Create Without Restrictions , at least one of the following fields must be filled:
- Name
- First name
- Street
- Postal code
- City
- Telephone number
- Fax number
- E-mail address
Duplicate creation is possible.
- Search + Assign;Only Create Particpnts if Not Entirely Blank
As with Only Create Participants if Not Entirely Blank whereby a search takes place before the new creation is made. If the participant already exists in the business partner database, you can assign this participant to the claim. If the participant is not found, you can create him or her.
- Only Search and Assign; No New Creation
As with Search + Assign;Only Create Particpnts if Not Entirely Blank, but without the option of creation. Here it is assumed without any doubt that the business partner you are looking for is in the business partner database.
- Create Without Restrictions
The system creates the participant exactly according to the input given by the user. For example, if the only data you enter on a participant is the country US, a participant containing only this information is created.
Duplicate creation is possible. This means that you can create any number of participants that only contain the information country = US.
Notes:
- In most cases, the following settings are recommended:
- Only Create Participants if Not Entirely Blank
- Search + Assign;Only Create Particpnts if Not Entirely Blank
- The Create Without Restrictions setting should only be available to a small group of experts.
