Definition

Stipulates how notes may be edited.

Use

The settings that are possible have the following meaning:

• Can Be Changed (optimistic processing type)

  Each user with authorization to change the note may change the note text and the other note attributes of the corresponding note (except for the note title).

• Can Only Be Extended (pessimistic processing type)

  Each user with authorization to change the note can only extend the note text. He/she cannot change the existing note text, but only add text. He/she cannot change the attributes.

Dependencies

This setting is only relevant if the user has authorization to change the note. You use authorization object I_ICL_SUBX to specify authorizations.
