Number of claims or subclaims that have been closed during the selected period.

Use

Dependencies

To determine the number of such claims, the system uses the performer assignment that was valid at the point in time of the claim closure, not the performer assignment that is valid when the report is run.

Example

  • Example 1:

On the first day of the selected period, a claim or subclaim was opened and then closed.

In this case, the number is 1.

  • Example 2:

The claim from Example 1 is opened again during the selected period.

In this case, the number is 1.

  • Example 3:

In the selected period January 1 to December 31, 2009, in a claim that was opened on January 1, 2009 and closed on April 2, 2009, there are the following performer assignments for A and B:

    • January 1, 2009 to March 31, 2009:
    • A in Role ROLE1
      B in Role ROLE2.
    • April 1, 2009 to April 2, 2009:
    • A in Role ROLE1.

The number of closed claims for A is 1 and for the number of closed claims for B is 0.

The number of opened claims for A and B is 1 each.
