Documentation
Definition
Lower threshold value for equating vendors with regard to an evaluation criterion.
Use
If the value of a vendor drops below this threshold value, the system treats the vendor's value as 0 (optimum value).
At the opposite end of the scale is the upper threshold value that you can use to exclude vendors.
Dependencies
Example
When you are evaluating a vendor, you do not want to differentiate whether the vendor is at a distance of five, four, or less miles from the location of the damaged object. You must set the lower threshold value of the evaluation criterion DISTANCE to 5.
