Use
You can use evaluation categories to break down in greater detail how the evaluated amount of the claim item is determined.
Dependencies
Example
- Evaluation category "actual cash value":
Five years ago the claim item (child's bicycle, for example) had a value of USD 100. On the basis of the actual cash value, the claim item is now only worth 30% of the original figure, in other words USD 30. The evaluated amount was determined using the evaluation category "actual cash value" (30% in this case).
- Evaluation category "day rate":
In the event of a claim, the policyholder is entitled to a rental car for five days. The day rate for the rental car is USD 50. The evaluated amount for the claim item "rental car" is thus five times USD 50, equals USD 250. The evaluated amount was determined using the evaluation category "day rate" (USD 50 in this case).
