Example
- Temporary Total
This means that the employee is unable to work at all for a specific duration. After this duration, it is expected that the employee will be able to resume working at full capacity.
- Temporary Partial
This means that the employee is only partially able to work for a specific duration. After this duration, it is expected that the employee will be able to resume working at full capacity.
- Permanent Partial
This means that the employee has suffered a permanent loss (such as loss of one or more body parts) and is therefore only partially able to work.
- Permanent Total
This means that the employee has a permanent disability and is completely unable to resume remunerative employment.
