Documentation
Definition
Defines which reserve type is used when a subclaim is created.
Use
If a subclaim with this subclaim type is created in claims processing (either manually by the user or automatically by the system), the system automatically uses the reserve type specified here. The user then does not have to specify any reserve type.
Dependencies
- You can only specify a loss reserve here.
You define whether a reserve type is for compensation (losses) or expenses in IMG activity Define Reserve Types in the Losses/Expenses field.
- The standard reserve type is independent of the Statistical Reserving flag (in this IMG activity under Subclaim -> Permitted Subclaim Types -> Permitted Reserve Types ).
The standard reserve type refers to the reserve type that is used, and the statistical reserving to the amount of the proposed reserve.
