Indicates the maximum number of hours that the claim date and claim time may occur after the end of coverage for coverage to still exist.
Use
Dependencies
The values in this field depend on the following data:
- Date and time at which the claim occurred
- Time of the end of coverage
Example
A claim occurs on January 20, 2001, but coverage of the contract ended on January 19, 2001.
If this field contains a value of 24 hours, coverage exists in our example (the data in this field is displayed in a dialog screen with the valid coverages and used in the process of automatic coverage opening).
If the field contains a valid of 0 hrs, no coverage exists in this example.
