The rejection reason defined here is used for the compensation calculation.

If a claim item is rejected in claims processing because of lack of coverage, the system automatically displays the rejection reason defined here in the compensation calculation. The performer cannot change this rejection reason manually.

Dependencies

The possible rejection reasons are defined in IMG activity Define Reasons for Rejecting Claim Items.

Example

You define the rejection reason General Probationary Period here. In all claims with this internal claim type, the system displays the rejection reason General Probationary Period as soon as a claim item is rejected because of lack of coverage.
