Definition

Use

This indicator refers to two functions simultaneously:

  • Consideration of business partner category in the business partner search
    • If you set this indicator, the system considers all business partner categories (person, organization) in a business partner search.
    • If you do not set this indicator, the system only searches for business partners that have the standard business partner category.
  • Overriding of standard business partner category in creation of new business partners
    • If you set this indicator, you can override the standard business partner category when you create a new business partner during claims processing.
    • If you do not set this indicator, you cannot override the standard business partner category when you create a new business partner during claims processing.

      Note: This refers only to creation of new business partners. With existing business partners there is no way you can change the standard business partner category.
