Use
You use the time reference to define how the customizing versions of the policy product and benefit type tree are read.
The following instances are possible:
- Incident date
The valid version of the policy product and of the benefit type tree are determined on the basis of the incident date.
Here there can only be one valid version of the policy product and of the benefit type tree for the claim.
- Benefit period (resulting from the claim item grouping or claim item)
The valid versions of the policy product and of the benefit type tree are determined on the basis of the benefit period.
Here there can be several valid versions of the policy product and of the benefit type tree for the claim (especially for a claim item).
If you specify the time reference Benefit Period , an additional consistency check is performed for the benefit period.
Dependencies
Specification of the time reference is line-dependent:
- For policy products in the line of P & C insurance, enter the time reference Incident Date.
- For policy products in the line of health insurance, enter the time reference Benefit Period.
