Link type
Use
If you link a claim subobject with another claim subobject in the application, you can use the link type to indicate the relationship between the two claim subobjects.
Dependencies
Example
The relationship between two linked claims might be as follows:
- Duplicates (duplicate or incorrect creation of a claim)
- In the area of inpatient hospital stays
- With delivery of a child, the mother claim and the child claim belong together
- With organ transplants, the donor claim and the receiver claim belong together
- Transfers from one hospital to another
- In the area of P&C insurance
- With a house fire, the home contents claim and the residential buildings claim belong together
To map these different link possibilities in claims processing, you must define different link types in Customizing.
