Definition
Determines the technical status of the version of an internal claim type, a benefit type tree, or a policy product.
Use
The following statuses are possible:
- A = Active
The Claims Management system can only use active versions as the new version.
An object (internal claim type, benefit type tree, policy product) can have more than one active version at different insurance-related points in time (such as the date on which the claim occurred, or the renewal date of the contract). There can only be one active version for a certain combination of insurance-related points in time.
- S = Suspense
The version has been parked and saved. It has no effect on the behavior of the system. Whenever you change an object, a suspense version is created. Before you can use this version in the Claims Management system, you must activate it.
- I = Inactive
When an active version is replaced by a new active version, the older version automatically becomes inactive. The older version is no longer valid at any new insurance-related point in time. It is only stored for tracking purposes. An inactive version is a version that was once active in the system.
- T = Transport
This version is only created in Customizing clients. It ensures safe transport of object changes to the production system without overwriting information stored there. In the production system, these versions are then activated in the same way as suspense versions.
- L = Transport (to the generation belonging to the version)
- D = Active Deletion Entry
This version records which user deleted a previously active version and on what date. In addition, a deletion flag is always set with entries with this technical status.
