Documentation
Definition
The specified URL is shown with the text selected from the OTR as the name of the link on the logon page of the ICF system logon.
If the selected OTR text is not translated, a default text, "Link text is missing", is displayed.
Use
If possible, specify a relative URL. The URL is called with parameter sap-return-url. This parameter contains the called application.
The link can be displayed in the same browser window or in a new browser window. If you chose to open the link in the same window, the called service should provided a "Back" pushbutton to enable you to return to the system log on to run the application.
Dependencies
Note that the URL specified must also be accessible, in particular, the service must have been activated in transaction SICF.
Note that anonymous logon data is defined for the specified URL and service. The service is called before the user logs on; so at the time the call is made, no logon data is available.
External service calls should be configured so that a new browser window is opened.
