Documentation
Definition
The client specified here is used as the default value for the 'Client' field on the logon screen.
Use
The default client is only displayed on the ICF logon page if the client field has been configured for display on the logon screen.
Dependencies
Identifying the client when user logs on to the system:
- If an obligatory client has been defined in the service configuration (under logon data), the user is logged on in this client. The default client assigned here is ignored. The client field on the logon screen is locked against input.
- If a client is specified explicitly in the URL (parameter:sap-client), this specification overwrites the default value entered here in the field.
- The default value from the system logon is used.
- A client set as non-obligatory is used from the service configuration.
- Client: 'login/system_client' set as the default client in the kernel parameter is displayed on the logon screen.
