Use
A hierarchy step is specified to generate a reconciliation list on a consolidation group level.
The reconciliation list shows how the IU elimination would be performed on the aggregated level of consolidation groups.
Procedure
If you want to generate a reconciliation list on a consolidation group level, specify one of the following hierarchy steps:
- Hierarchy step "0" represents the level of the consolidation group you specified.
- Hierarchy step "1" represents the next sub-step that underlies the consolidation group you entered.
- Hierarchy step "2" is the next sub-step, and so on.
If no hierarchy step is entered, IU elimination is executed on a consolidation unit level.
Please note that the system only posts IU eliminations on the consolidation unit level. If you enter a different hierarchy step, the program can only run in test mode and produce a reconciliation list for editing purposes.
Dependencies
You can only generate a reconciliation list on a group level if the rollup was run using substitution of partner units.
"Partner unit substitution" is part of the dimension settings.
