The table status briefly describes the current attributes of the table. To get detailed information, place the cursor on a table name and display the entire log with 'Utilities -> Log'. You can also double-click on the table name to get an overview of the objects and storage parameters used.

General statues:

  1. 'For conversion'
    The table was added to the worklist and is locked against changes with Workbench means. No changes were yet made to the table and any changes can be removed again with 'Control->Delete entry'.
  2. 'Prepare for conversion'
    The table is just being prepared for the coming conversion. During this status you cannot access the table for a time (see 'Productive' column).
  3. 'Conversion'
    The table has been completely prepared for the conversion and the data transfer may take place.
  4. 'Switch'
    The table is just being switched to the new structure. The system cannot acccess the table at times (see 'Productive' column).
  5. 'Consistency test'
    The table is checked in this status.
  6. 'Done'
    The switch to the new table already took place and the system is now working with the converted data. You can remove such a table from the worklist with 'Control->Delete entry'.

Special statuses in the repository switch upgrade:

  1. 'Upgrade phase PRUN_RADISWTC'
    The table was prepared for the upcoming SAP NetWeaver Application Server switch upgrade. All the runtime objects were saved.
  2. 'Switch to Phase PCON'
    All the requirements for switching to the new table in upgrade phase PCON are satisfied. The switch will be made as soon as possible.
  3. 'Target struct. wrong'
    A check showed that a different structure than should be created by the repository switch upgrade was created during table conversion. This is a serious error.
    Contact SAP support immediately. If you have no opportunity to do so, you can reject the results of the conversion with 'Control->Reset' and perform a conventional conversion in phase PCON. In this case you should repeat phase PCON with R3/up option 'repeat'.

    CAUTION !

    Another conventional conversion could take very long and exceed the timeframe for the upgrade.
