Definition
In most cases, the validity period of the indirect valuation does not match the validity period of the current record.
If you overwrite the date in this field (for example, the day after the end of the validity period for the current valuation), the values are recalculated.
The system proposes the validity start date for the indirect valuation.
When you create records, the validity start date for the indirect valuation is calculated according to the entries in the 'T77S0_BASICPAY' maintenance view variant. The following settings are possible:
- Validity start date as close as possible to the current system date ('SY-DATUM')
- Validity start date of current record
For all other functions, the system uses the start date that was entered on the screen provided that this date is within the validity period of the current record.
This also applies to the start date proposed by the system if no entry was made on the screen.
If the entered or proposed start date is not within the validity period of the current record, the start date of the record is used for indirect valuation.
