Definition
This indicator Installed Base Used for Configuration is used to identify installed bases that were generated from the variant configuration. The installed base category 02 is reserved for this.
The variant configuration saves your data within the installed base. The data is imported exclusively into the installed base using special function modules and changed there.
The indicator for the installed base category is copied from Customizing to the installed base record when you create an installed base.
Warning:
Do not change the settings for the installed base category 02 and the indicator Installed Base Used for Configuration.
