Definition
Key for:
- Time interval, within which a defined task must be performed for the notification
- Relevant code, which is defined for this task
Dependencies
The system calculates the time interval with reference to the service profile, to which the response profile is assigned. This calculation is based on the system time.
A response profile must also be assigned to the notification type. However, this only has an effect if:
- No response profile has been entered for the service windows in the service profile
- The notification is entered outside of the service windows
Examples
The service windows are from 8.00 to 12.00 and from 14.00 to 18.00. You create a notification at 10.00. The following is predefined in the response profile:
- Time interval of two hours for code "Call back customer"
- Time interval of four hours for code "Check whether technician at customer site"
You must therefore call the customer back by 12.00 to discuss or solve the problem. If necessary, the technician must be at the customer site by 16.00.
If a customer reports a problem outside of the service windows, in other words, between 12.00 and 14.00, the system bases the calculation on the response profile for the notification type.
