Documentation
Definition
You can use this field to assign a fixed hierarchy level to a customer so that this customer master record always has the same (fixed) hierarchy level assignment over all hierarchy categories when it is used as a hierarchy node. You can only assigns levels 01 through 10.
This field is only used in the transfer structures for cost accounting and the sales information system. In other words, this "fixed" level assignment does not necessarily have to correspond to the real hierarchy level, because not every node is relevant for CO/PA or SIS.
Example of hierarchy with level assignments:
Customer A
|
Customer B / Level 01
|
Customer C
|
Customer D / Level 02
Only nodes B and C are relevant for CO/PA and/or SIS, and they are transferred to the relevant structures with the fixed levels of 01 and/ or 02.
