Use
Main and subtransactions fulfill three functions:
They document which aspect of the business transaction or business process is the basis for posting the line item.
An explanatory text is assigned to every main and subtransaction, which can be used for correspondence.
Main and subtransactions can influence automatic account determination for many processes.
An internal main transaction can be assigned to the main transaction, and an internal subtransaction can be assigned to the subtransaction; the internal transactions control the flow of application-specific processing programs, and these are used by utility companies.
The subtransaction differentiates the main transaction.
The main transaction to be entered here is used when transfer posting from an insurance object with account balance interest calculation for writing off.
