Definition

In this field, you can enter either a material number, HU identifier, or the material's line number from the material table. The system then attempts to pack this material or handling unit.

• HU identifier:
  If the HU identifier belongs to an existing handling unit, the system attempts to pack that HU into the handling unit that is being processed.
• Material number:
  If the material is in the material table, it is packed in the handling unit that is being processed. Before packing, the system asks you to specify quantity and batch (if the material in question is a batch material). If you enter a negative quantity, the material is unpacked.
• Material line number:
  You may also enter the line number in the material table instead of specifying the material number.
