Definition

You can use this indicator to control whether an archive file should be created when the write program is run.

If you do not generate an archive file, the system only generates statistics. These statistics are the same as the statistics generated when an archive file is created. Because you are not generating an archive file, however, no entries are made in archive management and the deletion program is not called up.
