Definition

Describes the physical status of handling units that were recently created.

• "A"
  Handling unit does not exist yet physically and should be created as a planned handling unit.
• "B"
  The handling units that are to be created physically exist, but are not in the warehouse yet.
• "C"
  The handling units that are to be created physically exist and are in the warehouse. The stock that is to be packed in them comes from a non-HU storage location. (This is the only status that allows handling units to be posted to an HU-managed storage location when they are saved.)

Notes

The default state in which handling units are created is taken from user parameter HU_ST_INIT. If there are no parameters maintained for your user, the system asks you to enter the physical status in the general packing dialog. If handling units are not created via the general packing dialog, they appear with a status of "C" (handling unit in the warehouse).
