Definition
Use
An organizational structure view is used in the Object and Data Provider to display data for a particular object. Such data includes, for example, communication data such as the phone numbers and e-mail addresses of a manager's employees. The organizational view provides users with a initial point of entry in applications for executing business tasks for the objects listed in the views.
If the user is to be able to switch between various organizational structure views in a particular application, you can group several views together in one group. Within this group, you also define the sequence in which the organizational structure views are to be displayed on the interface.
Dependencies
Example
In an application, a manager wants to be able to switch between an overview of all employees who are directly assigned to his or her area of responsibility and an overview of all subordinate employees. In this case, you can define two organizational structure views and group them together in a group that can then be used in the application.
