- Determine organizational objects -- field Function Module Objects
To be able to display views of the organizational structure, the system must first determine the root objects. In the field Evaluation Path for Root Objects , store an evaluation path. The evaluation path always receives the logged-on user as the start object.
As standard, the organizational units for which the manager occupies the chief position should be the root objects. Starting from each individual root object, the system uses the evaluation path specified in the field Evaluation Path Objects to determine all organizational objects located below the root object. Alternatively, you can store a function module in the Function Module for Root Objects field that returns all root objects. We deliver function module HRWPC_PATHROOTS (Function Module for Determining Root Objects) as a template.
As opposed to using the Evaluation Path Objects for determining organizational objects, you can enter a function module in the Function Module Objects field that returns organizational objects. We deliver function module HRWPC_EVAL_PATH as a template.
