Use
In this field, you specify the analysis period whose performance values and potential values are to be compared with the values of the current period. If you do not make an entry, the system uses the same period of the previous year for the comparison.
Dependencies
Example
In your enterprise, the performance assessments and potential assessments are performed quarterly. Therefore, create a group with the following analysis periods:

If you do not specify any comparison periods for these analysis periods, the system uses the previous year's value for the same quarter as the comparison value. It thus compares the value from the fourth quarter of the current year with the value from the fourth quarter of the previous year, for example.
If you want to compare with a different period, specify the corresponding period as the comparison period. Example: You want the value from each quarter to be compared with the value from the preceding quarter. The value from the fourth quarter of the current year is thus to be compared with the value from the third quarter of the current year. For this, make the following entries:
