Definition
When prefix numbers are maintained for Organizational Management and Workflow, an object directory entry is created for each prefix number. It includes the entry's original system, that is, the system in which the entry was created. You can now read the system ID for prefix numbers directly from the object directory, that is, this information is only stored in the object directory, not in (local) table T78NR. Advantage: if the corresponding development class is moved, the prefix numbers move to the new system automatically. You can only create such entries in the system in question because new object directory entries are always in the current system originally.
Object directory entries can be moved using the Transport Organizer (objects with PGMID R3TR and object ID HRNR with the prefix number as the object name).
If you want to store the system ID locally (that is, in table T78NR), just enter a different system ID. Please note, however, that this entry cannot be moved automatically if the development class is moved.
If an entry's local system ID is different from the original system of the object directory, the entry is flagged with a yellow traffic light in the extended view of the overview screen for prefix number maintenance.
If local entries with no object directory entry are changed and then confirmed, an object directory entry is created.
