Message text in the error log.

Use

The following entries in the shift plan are recognized as errors by the system, and are displayed as a message in the error log:

• Working times of shift abbreviations entered overlap
• Shift abbreviation is not defined in the current shift group
• Shift abbreviation not entered in correct position (for example, flextime abbreviation in the availabilities line)

The messages are displayed in the error log with message type red.
You must correct the error before you can continue.

Activities

In the error log, double click on the message that you want to edit.
The cursor jumps automatically to the defective entry, and highlights the incorrect shift abbreviation.
Correct the shift abbreviation using either the possible entries function or the shift abbreviation box.

The message is no longer displayed after you correct the error.

Notes

If you enter an incorrect abbreviation, the relevant shift abbreviation field is surrounded in red.

The total number of error messages is displayed in the column heading.
