Definition

You specify here which attendance type is to be used to record the working time extension in the Attendances infotype (2002).

Use

You can define an assignment option, in which the working time of an employee is adjusted to meet the times of the requirement to which he/she is assigned.

This adjustment can be an extension to the employee's working time, which is recorded in Time Management as an attendance record in the Attendances infotype (2002).

In this field, specify which attendance type is to be used to create the attendance record.

Dependencies

There is only a list of attendance types available in this field, if:

  • The required attendance type is stored in table T554S.
  • The attendance type is classed as a partial-day attendance.
  • The attendance type has the availability ID 1 (available).
  • The required attendance types are defined as a shift with a shift abbreviation in the shift group.
  • This shift is defined as an attendance.

Activities

  • Create the required partial-day attendance in table T554s.
  • Indicate the attendance type as being available.
  • Create a shift in the shift group to which the current organizational unit is assigned.
  • Mark this shift as an attendance.
