Definition
This flag specifies whether or not qualifications are taken into account in career and succession planning scenarios.
Use
Career Planning
If this flag is set, then the system displays all the objects that require at least one qualification that the selected object has.
Example
The system displays all the positions, jobs, etc. for which a person is suitable.
Succession Planning
If this flag is set, the system displays all the objects that have at least one qualification required by the selected object.
Example
The system displays all persons, users, etc. who are suitable for a particular position.
Essential Requirements
Whether or not essential requirements are taken into account will depend on the setting made in your User-specific settings.
If essential requirements are taken into account, the system displays only objects that fulfill the essential requirements (Succession Planning), or objects whose essential requirements are fulfilled (Career Planning).
