Use
Career Planning
If this flag is set, then all the object's designations are displayed.
Succession Planning
If this flag is set, then the system displays all objects (persons, etc.) that have been designated for the position in question.
Note
It really only makes sense to take designations into account for positions in a succession planning scenario.
