Definition

Determines whether

  • Completed, rejected or approved appraisals can be deleted
  • The status of completed or rejected appraisals can be reset to In process (this means that changes can once again be made to the appraisals in question)

Use

  • No reset or delete: completed, rejected, or approved appraisals may not be deleted, nor may the status of approved or rejected appraisals be reset to In process
  • Delete: completed, rejected, and approved appraisals can be deleted
  • Reset: the status of completed or rejected appraisals can be reset to In process
  • Reset and delete: completed, rejected and approved appraisals can be deleted, and The status of completed or rejected appraisals can be reset to In process

Depending on the appraisal type, the resetting of the status will have the following effect:

  • Individual appraisal: the status of the individual appraisal selected will be reset
  • Overall appraisal: the status of the overall appraisal selected, and of all its subappraisals, will be reset
  • Subappraisal: the status of the subappraisal selected, and of the corresponding overall appraisal, will be reset

Dependencies

The following transactions are involved in deleting and resetting appraisals:

  • APPDELETE
    Delete completed appraisals
  • APPTAKEBACK
Reset the status of completed and rejected appraisals to "In process"

Before a user can carry out any of these actions, the user must have been assigned the appropriate authorizations for the transactions.

Note

If you use the approval workflow for appraisals, and you want the status of rejected appraisals to be reset automatically to In process, you must have selected the further processing option Reset or Reset and delete.
